Thank you so much for your contribution to GCIA. Your confidence in us gives us the ability to continue our work in Haiti.

We promise to use our funds wisely and to continue to seek out ways to get materials and goods donated so we can operate efficiently.

Nearly four months after the tragedy, progress is slow and living conditions on the ground are unacceptable.

What we can promise is that the funds donated will be spent quickly and directly on the needs as we assess them daily.

The immediate priority is to shelter people from the upcoming weather and provide emergency lodging.

Tent dwellings are dangerous , unsanitary and temporary. 

Our goal is to complete the relocation of the people from tent cities where they are in perilous danger.

For now, our concerns are very focused on the immediate needs to get the people out of harms-way and provide better shelter from the HURRICANE SEASON.

GCIA operates with a small professional and dedicated staff supported by an army of volunteers and many local Haitian staffers as well. Because of the generosity of our volunteers nearly all contributions go directly to the people who need it.
